A proud history of residential aged care in New Zealand
Radius Care is a New Zealand owned and operated company, established in 2003 to meet New Zealand’s growing demand for aged care and associated health care services. Since then, Radius has become one of the leading specialist health care providers in New Zealand, with 23 locations nationwide.
Early in 2010, Chief Executive and Director Brien Cree led a management buyout of the company, which brought it back into New Zealand ownership from foreign investors. Brien’s vision was to make Radius Care the best aged care provider in the country.

All our health care assistants and nursing staff are highly qualified and committed to providing the very best in nursing care. Regular in-house training and on-going skills development ensures our staff are up with modern health care practices.

Achieving exceptional certification results
Many of our care homes have achieved and hold a current 4 Year Certification. Naturally, achieving a 3 Year Certification is highly commended, so 4 Years goes above and beyond. Demonstrating the highest standard, 4 Year Certification indicates a ‘CI’ has been obtained (continuous improvement), putting these sites amongst the best in the country. Read more here.

Founder and Executive Chair
Brien has more than 30 years' experience in the aged care sector and is the founding shareholder of Radius Care. Brien…
has also been the Managing Director of Radius from the company's inception in 2003. Brien has built the Radius portfolio from the ground up to its current 23 aged care facilities and four retirement villages. As Executive Chair, Brien is focused on the execution of Radius Care's strategic growth objectives. He is a board member of the NZACA and a past board member of the Retirement Villages Association.
