Just 4 kilometres from the New Plymouth CBD, Radius Thornleigh Park is located in the quiet residential suburb of Highlands Park.

24 brand new premium care rooms have been recently completed.

Thornleigh Park is a single-level facility, set amidst picturesque grounds with stunning landscaped gardens. Our home has been recently refurbished and modernised, and offers rest home, private hospital, palliative, and respite care. The home has been designed with many private spaces, along with common areas for families, friends and residents to socialise.

Here at Thornleigh Park we believe “a life worth living is the path to wellness” and the activities and outings we plan for our residents reflect this belief. Annual sunflower competitions, museum visits, “Tea and Tunes”, and a buggy trip along the coastal walkway are just a few of the events our residents enjoy. Another highlight for our residents has been taking part in the “Waikato Commonwealth Games”, competing in events such as balloon volleyball, Frisbee-discus throwing, beanbag toss, and indoor long bowls. Fundraising for the local community is dear to our residents’ hearts, and we are always on the lookout for new and exciting opportunities for our residents to get involved.
