Radius Fulton is ideally located in the Dunedin residential suburb of Caversham, close to the beach and within easy walking distance to the local shops. We’re only 10 minutes from Dunedin’s CBD, and public transport stops right at our door.

Our open, spacious facility integrates rest home, hospital, respite, palliative and dementia care. Residents have the freedom to come and go as they please, and visits from family and friends are always welcome. A friendly homelike atmosphere is fostered between residents, families and the caring staff. It is important to us that when you choose to make Radius Fulton home you feel cared for and valued.

Our wonderful activities coordinator schedules new activities and outings every week, ensuring our residents can continue to enjoy their passions and interests. We have an extensive programme of social activities that include live music, arts and crafts, cooking, exercises, dancing, quiz nights, fundraisers, and regular themed functions to keep residents motivated and entertained. Some of them have also formed the RAGtimers (a Resident Action Group) to discuss local community events and brainstorm ways to help out. And, regularly airing on Otago Access Radio is the Fulton Home Residents’ Show, with residents broadcasting their favourite music and thoughts on life.

If you’d like a tour of the facility, or just to drop in for a chat, please call us and arrange a time to meet. We’re here to help you make the right decision for you or your loved one.

Meet our Manager

Lisa Genge

I’m Lisa Genge, and I’ve had quite a journey to get to where I am today. I started my career in special education teaching before transitioning into aged care and diversional therapy over a decade ago. My journey in aged care began as a Healthcare Assistant at Radius Fulton, where I worked for a couple of years before finding my passion in diversional therapy – and now as a Facility Manager.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of providing a sense of purpose and a new lease on life for many residents at Radius Fulton. I’m passionate about ensuring that every person who works at our facility understands the privilege it is to be part of each resident’s journey. I’ve experienced both the best and hardest times while working at Fulton, including floods, evacuations, and pandemics. These experiences have empowered me to be a leader. I’ve also celebrated the birth of my children during this time, which is an incredibly special milestone.

To me, aged care is not just a job; it’s a calling. Making a difference in someone’s life, no matter how small, is what keeps me going, and I wouldn’t want to do anything else.
